That’s why I’m thrilled to announce that today, Prepared has raised $27 million in Series B funding, led once again by Andreessen Horowitz, with participation from First Round Capital, M13, and NewView Capital, bringing Prepared's total funding to nearly $60 million. This funding is a huge step towards making sure the future of public safety is accessible to everyone when they need it most.

Prepared is building the assistive AI platform for public safety. An intelligent suite of tools that, combined with the critical experience and care of a human first responder, creates a safer future and saves lives. 

This future will ensure:

• Every 911 caller can be understood, no matter the language, with real-time translation.
• Every telecommunicator will have an intelligent assistant by their side, ensuring every detail is captured and every note is taken—without ever touching the keyboard.
• The full power of mobile devices is utilized, making data like video, pictures, and texts instantly shareable with emergency services.
• First responders arrive with a clear understanding of the situation, fully prepared for what they’re walking into and how best to respond.
• Large-scale emergencies are handled with organized, data-driven action that turns potential chaos into coordinated, effective responses.

And this is just the beginning. With this funding, Prepared will launch new additions to this suite, all with a singular goal—harnessing technology to fully support our nation's first responders.
